Licences are perpetual and validated offline. The version you buy keeps working forever — only the entitlement to new versions lapses, after a year, and renewing it is optional.
This machine only.
Three machines you own.
Unlimited machines. A person, not a PC.

Machine allowances are licence terms shown in Settings, not a lock. An offline licence can prove a tier but never a count, and we would rather trust customers than add friction that only punishes the honest ones.
Only if you want newer versions. Your current licence keeps working either way — this buys another year of updates, added on to whatever you have left.
Only your entitlement to new versions. The build you have keeps working forever, with no nag screens and no reduced functionality. If you never renew, nothing breaks — you simply stay on the version you had when the entitlement lapsed.
No. There is no sign-up and no login anywhere in the product. Your key arrives by email and is verified on your own machine against a public key compiled into the application.
Nothing. Licences are checked entirely offline, so there is no activation server to go dark. The only thing you would lose is the reference-data download, and the application works identically on the dataset it already has.
Yes. Nothing is locked to hardware — a Technician licence in particular is a person, not a machine, since the whole point is scanning computers you do not own. Replace a motherboard and your key still works.

On Enterprise, yes. Get in touch and we will sort out terms, an invoice and a licence issued outside the normal checkout.
